What is a CNC Vertical Machining Center?
The CNC Vertical Machining Center is a milling machine for metal, with the machine spindle oriented vertically.
The spindle approaches the workpiece that is mounted on the worktable from above. The machine is equipped with a tool magazine system and an automatic tool changer. This allows the following operations to be performed: milling, boring, drilling, and threading.
The built-in computerized controls enable automation, repeatability, tool selection/change, and advanced cutting speed control, significantly increasing milling productivity to unprecedented levels.
